No, One can apply for only one unit. However, one can apply for Small Family Apartment/Hostel Type Accommodation under Demand Survey even as second dwelling unit.No, One can only apply for any one scheme at one time. One can apply for two or more Demand Surveys. However, if someone gets allotment under Spot/Annual Schemes at later stage, he/she should withdraw from all the other schemes except for SFA/Hostel Type Accommodation. |

TAX BENEFIT FROM HOUSING LOAN |

Housing loan can only be applied for after booking/allotment letter is issued.
An allottee has to pay 15% - 25% of the cost of Dwelling Unit to the allotting agency to be eligible to apply for a loan.
There is no rebate in Income Tax for availing a loan. The rebate is for the repayment of the loan, equal to the amount of interest paid on the housing loan.
No rebate is available till possession of DU is taken. Rebate on interest paid prior to financial year of possession is available in 5 equal instalments from financial year of possession. This is in addition to interest payable in current financial year.

SALE/TRANSFER OF PROPERTY |

Both parties (seller / transferer and purchaser / transferee) should send separate applications addressed to Managing Director, Soldier Housing Welfare Organization on plain paper intimating Soldier Housing Welfare Organization that he/she wants to sell/purchase flat/plot/shop etc (as the case may be) No __________ at ______________ to/from ______________ for which necessary NOC/sanction be accorded.
Subsequent course of action is intimated by Soldier Housing Welfare Organization to seller after processing of application.
The NOC/sanction for transfer of property is given in single name only.
Hence application for sale/transfer of property should be fwd in single name
( for purchaser ) only. |
