All the dwelling units/ flats /plots / farm houses /Hostels /cottages etc mentioned herein shall be referred as “UNIT(s)”

The allotment of block, floor, and specific unit will be made by a public draw of lots at the specified location either immediately after closing of the scheme or towards the end of the project as the case may be. All applicants are permitted to attend the conduct of draw of lots. The results will be intimated to each beneficiary.

Allotments of a specific flat/ floor/plot /FH /Hostel / cottage etc, as a result of the draw, shall be final and no requests for change shall be entertained.

In case of first cum first serve schemes the allotment of units will be made as per the seniority of receipt of application forms against the numbered seniority of approved units.

Beneficiary allotted a park /corner/ road /pool & club facing unit will be liable to pay extra cost as per terms & conditions of that particular project of Soldier Housing Welfare Organization.

WITHDRAWAL FROM A SCHEME/PROJECT
If a beneficiary wishes to withdraw from a scheme, he should submit a written request to the Soldier Housing Welfare Organization, along with the following documents:-

(1) Letter of allocation / allotment of unit in original (if issued)
(2) Original receipt(s) issued by Soldier Housing Welfare Organization office or the developer against the payment(s) made by the beneficiary
(3) Pre-receipt of refundable amount
(4) In case of withdrawals in projects which are in collaboration with the developers / builders a authority letter authorizing Soldier Housing Welfare Organization to seek withdrawal on behalf of the beneficiary shall also be submitted.(b)Any one withdrawing from the scheme prior to allocation of unit, the complete registration amount will be refunded.(c)In case of withdrawal after allocation of unit has been done by Soldier Housing Welfare Organization the applicant will be charged Cancellation Charges as specified for each project.(d)In case of withdrawal during the period of construction, after making booking /part /full payments to Soldier Housing Welfare Organization / developer the applicant will be charged Cancellation Charges as specified for each project.(e)No interest will be paid by Soldier Housing Welfare Organization in case of withdrawal from the scheme at any stage, however not more than 60 days will be taken by the Soldier Housing Welfare Organization developer for refund of due amount. If Soldier Housing Welfare Organization demands you for the payment and after that you apply for the cancellation then it will take 90-120 days to release the due amount.
POSSESSION OF UNIT
The beneficiary will be given a notice of two months to take over the allotted unit, provided he/she has completed all formalities, paid all the dues, executed all the Deeds and obtained a Clearance Certificate from the Soldier Housing Welfare Organization.
HANDING OVER
The units will be offered on ‘as-is-where-is’ basis as allotted after the Contractor and Architect have certified their completion. However, defects and deficiencies observed by the beneficiaries at the time of handing over/taking over may be recorded in the documents at the site office. These will be examined and rectified, wherever applicable, within the defect liability period.
MUTUAL EXCHANGE OF DWELLING UNITS
Mutual exchange of type of units, or specific floor/ flat/plots, after the draw has been conducted, may be permitted within the same scheme.
